The Cymbria Quilt.

Cymbria is a small town in Prince Edward Island where you will find a pretty famous restaurant called The Blue Mussel Cafe. As I inquired about wait times, I noticed the name Cymbria, and immediately knew I needed to make a quilt with green as the main focus. As my daughter said, it is the root of Cymru, the Welsh word for Wales, where I have not yet visited, but imagine green fields and many sheep!

This patchwork quilt features over 20 unique prints, in ranges of green and lower volume designs, with a gorgeous green floral on the back. It is made with quality quilting cotton and batting, has been prewashed in cold water and dried on normal tumble dry cycle. It measures 50×56 inches, a throw size for the couch or your favorite reading chair. Pieced and quilted in my home studio, shipped from Nova Scotia, Canada.

Rustico, Prince Edward Island, is one of my favorite towns to visit every summer. The colors in this quilt remind me of PEI in summer-the red dirt, the green fields, yellow canola flowers and pink skies at sunset.

This quilt is a lap size of 53×57 inches, perfect for snuggling on the couch. I use only high quality quilting cotton, cotton batting and thread, which feels cozy and warm, but also lightweight.

Caring for your new quilt is easy! Just wash it in cold water with your preferred detergent, and tumble dry. It will continue to get softer with use, so don’t be afraid to cuddle under your quilt. It’s meant to be used and loved. All quilts will arrive to you washed and dried.

This beautiful patchwork quilt features a variety of blue and white florals, ginghams and solids, finished with a soft blue and white striped binding. This quilt feels like a vintage patchwork that would be at home in a farmhouse or a seaside cottage. This quilt has been washed in cold water, and tumble dried on a regular cycle.

A beautiful, classic quilt that works with both contemporary and traditional styles of home. This quilt is made in an Irish chain pattern, accented with an all over quilting motif in a soft gold thread. The backing is a gorgeous floral with tiny gold accents, and bound in a pale blue stripe. It’s large in size, measuring approximately 80x80 inches -please take a moment to measure this out to determine if it is the right size for you before ordering.

Wash on cold water and tumble dry. This quilt has not been washed, so a normal amount of softening and crinkling of fabric will occur with washing.

The Brick Road quilt features gender neutral prints, in a range of earth tone colors on a natural background. It’s been carefully stitched with cotton thread to ensure longevity for your piece. It is a generous size (46x49 inches) for your child to grow with-in fact it could also be used as a lap quilt for a petite person.

This quilt has been washed in cold water, and dried on a normal cycle. It will arrive to your home washed.

This patchwork quilt features woodland animals and modern coordinating prints. A gender neutral gift for baby at a generous size of 40x48-large enough to transition from baby stage to snuggling with as they grow into being a toddler.

The front is quilting quality cotton and the backing is a soft grey linen.

All quilts are made in my home studio, and are washed and dried before shipping to their new home.

This patchwork quilt is just the right size for a backyard picnic or a movie night on the couch. I used warm browns and cream, with one of my favourite floral prints as the main attraction.
